Our naturally slow fermented sauerkraut with a fruity twist is one of most popular ferments. Sweet and sour, with the earthy flavour & bright colour of fresh turmeric adding to the healthful gut friendly bacteria and gentle pro-biotics. Its vegan and contains no allergens.
Our favourite ways to enjoy it: ‘eat straight from the jar’ side dish, add to a salsa, burrito, taco, sandwich, wrap, salad or top a burger. Add to soups for a kick of flavour and extra texture. The left over juice makes a great salad dressing.
These products are best kept in the fridge. This is because, they are ‘raw, live and unpasteurised’ and so full of the heathful gentle bacterias and pro-biotics. If they get warm, they will begin to ferment again, the living bacteria will produce carbon dioxide, the lid may bulge, and liquid may begin to leak out under the pressure. This is perfectly natural and demonstrates the bio-activity of the products. This does not mean the products have ‘gone off’.
