A member of the brassica family. A beautifully versatile vegetable which acts as a blank canvas for flavour. Roasted, steamed boiled, used as a rice substitute, added to soups, curries and a perfect accompaniment to cheese sauce. The list is endless. Remember to season and spice!

Cauliflower provides vital minerals such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, zinc, sodium and iron without adding any harmful cholesterol. It is a good source of protein, a substantial amount of phytochemicals, unsaturated fats, and essential omega-3 fatty acids and contains very little fat. It also provides dietary fiber and contains smaller amounts of natural sugars as compared to the other members of its botanical relatives, such as broccoli.
