Leeks are members of the same family of vegetables as onions and garlic but have their own distinct flavour – mild and sweet when cooked. They are versatile and work well in lots of dishes, fry and serve with potatoes or add to soups – a healthy, hearty leek and potato soup or Cock-a-leekie!
