A vintage recipe blending apple, raisins, sultanas, currants, vegetable suet and festive spices with the legendary oak aged Alnwick Rum, originating in 1914. This luxury mincemeat creates a festive pie unlike any other with dark rich fruitiness and the unique caramel and demerara sugar notes of the rum. A very special treat.

Alnwick Rum is the most perfect addition to our mincemeat. It’s made using a blend of Jamaican and Guyanan rum made with demerara sugar, oak-aged for up to three years to create a dark sweet luxury spirit.

Each 310-gramme jar of mincemeat is enough for 12 luxury mincemeat pies made by your hand. Making them with young children is a fun way to embrace the festive spirit. It also makes the perfect gift for home bakers looking to add a little Northumberland luxury into their pies this Christmas.
