With beautiful red flesh, blood oranges are similar in taste to regular oranges but are not available all year round as they rely on certain weather conditions to get that lovely red colour.
Simply bursting with vitamins, who doesn’t enjoy peeling a juicy sweet orange (or slightly bitter depending upon the variety) and enjoying segment after segment. Alternatively use it for juicing, making cakes or add segments or grated peel to a salad. The peel has an even higher content of some nutrients so try incorporating it into recipes for an extra health hit!
