Organic Blueberries

Touted as a superfood, this relative newcomer to the fruit scene is high in nutrients and low in calories. Like most berries they have a slight tart taste and are great added to cereal, pancakes or muffins, in smoothies and with lots of other uses too.

* Like us, not all fruit or vegetables are perfectly formed. We don’t believe in discriminating against misshapen carrots or imperfect potatoes and in fact, love them for their flaws. A less than round apple is still as tasty as their perfectly formed cousins. Unless your produce is clearly defective, please accept them as Nature intended.

Health benefits

High in vitamin C. There are exceptional antioxidants found in red/purple fruits and vegetables, such as blueberries, reported to be effective with a variety of health conditions. The health benefits of blueberries are due mainly to anthocyanidins. They support blood vessel integrity around the body, not only the collagen in skin and have been linked to a reduction in cardiovascular disease. Another popular use of blueberries is related to vision and protecting against age-related macular degeneration.
