Organic Brussel Sprout Tops

Give sprouts a chance! Especially the crown of leaves that grow at the top of the Brussel sprout stalk – they are a revelation. A taste which combines cabbage, fresh greens with a hint of Brussel sprout, but not enough to put off the haters. It is an altogether more delicate a sweeter taste. Until quite recently, they were either discarded in the field or given to livestock.

Use the leaves as you would saute kale, greens or spinach. They can also be boiled, shredding, added to stews or soups.

* Like us, not all fruit or vegetables are perfectly formed and are not uniform in size. We don’t believe in discriminating against misshapen carrots or imperfect potatoes and in fact, love them for their flaws. A less than round apple is still as tasty as their perfectly formed cousins. Taste is what we believe in, because it’s what’s inside that counts. Unless your produce is clearly defective, please accept them as Nature intended.

Health benefits
