Give sprouts a chance! Only 4 Brussel sprouts count as one of your 5-a-day! A winter vitamin powerhouse and love them or hate them, they always find a place at the festive table! Treat them well and they will respond accordingly. Try not to boil or steam them to death, but let them have a little bite. After cooking, toss with some oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.
Our family favourite is to fry steamed Brussel sprouts in a pan with oil or butter. Sprinkle the oil or butter with a covering of breadcrumbs and fry until golden brown. Add seasoning and the sprouts and stir for a further 1-2 minutes (or until hot) and serve – yum!

We don’t believe in discriminating against misshapen carrots or imperfect potatoes and in fact, love them for their flaws. A less than round apple is still as tasty as their perfectly formed cousins. Taste is what we believe in, because it’s what’s inside that counts. Unless your produce is clearly defective, please accept them as Nature intended.
