A favourite in the Autumn months, Hokkaido squash has a thin orangey skin and orange flesh with a sweet flavour with hints of chestnuts.

Great in soups, stews and casseroles it can also be baked boiled, sautéed or fried. Due to its sweet taste, this squash can be used in cakes, muffins, pies and breads. It’s also is ideal to stuff and bake in the oven.
