Organic Kiwis

A beautiful brilliant green on the inside and hairy on the outside, kiwis don’t disappoint in taste – juicy with flavour that can range from slightly tart to sweet depending on ripeness. You don’t need to peel, just cut the top off and eat like you would a hard boiled egg. Once peeled, they are great in fruit salads, in juices and partner very well with strawberries!

Did you know, this is one of the most nutritious vitamin C foods around!

Wash before eating.

* Like us, not all fruit or vegetables are perfectly formed and are not uniform in size. We don’t believe in discriminating against misshapen carrots or imperfect potatoes and in fact, love them for their flaws. A less than round apple is still as tasty as their perfectly formed cousins. Taste is what we believe in, because it’s what’s inside that counts. Unless your produce is clearly defective, please accept them as Nature intended.

Additional information

Storage info

Store ripe kiwis in the fridge for 1-2 weeks. Firm kiwis should be kept at room temperature to ripen. To speed up the ripening process, store in a bag with a banana. The gas emitted by the banana will cause the kiwi to ripen faster.
Kiwis are best enjoyed when the skin gives slightly when you hold it. Be careful not to let them over ripen, they become mushy and don't taste so good.

Health benefits

Rich in vitamin C, potassium, fiber and antioxidants, this small fruit offers a lot of benefits. Kiwi fruit is also loaded with vitamins and minerals such as Vitamins A, B6, B12, E, and potassium, calcium, iron and magnesium. These contribute collectively to the proper functioning of the body such as blood circulation through the vessels, fight stress, iron absorption for healthy bones and teeth, good vision, etc. The high levels of potassium help in maintaining blood pressure whereas magnesium helps in the nerve and muscle functions. Other benefits include heart health, an antioxidant that helps reduce signs of ageing and helping with digestion.
