Cacao Brew is an organic drink made using 100% whole cacao beans and nothing else. The beans are roasted in small batches, and then ground to an extra coarse consistency, perfect for brewing. Cacao Brew follows the same concept as coffee, but uses organic cacao beans, not coffee beans. All you need to do is brew!
Single-origin cacao uses organic Guatemalan cacao beans sourced from the jungle region of Alta Verapaz. The nature of our single-origin roast means that we only receive a limited supply of beans from this region. Expect espresso and blackberry flavour notes.
Just add water
Cafetière: brew it, plunge it, pour it, drink it. If required add your choice of milk and sweetener.
Cacao Brew works well with almost all brewing methods, drip or immersion and can be enjoyed hot or cold as it is (our favourite!), or by adding milk and your sweetener of choice.
Ther favourite way to brew at home is using a cafetière. Alternatively a teapot infuser works great, as does a drip coffee machine. If you love a pour over this works as well, just make sure you are using a stainless steel filter.
No paper filters please, paper filters don’t work well with cacao.
All of the beans sourced are organically grown. However, there is a high cost associated with having the organic certification stamp on the bags. So instead of adding unnecessary costs to the product (which wouldn’t be fair to customers), Cacao Brew simply state that the beans are organic on the bag.
