Delivery Information

When will I receive my order?

Orders will be received by you on Thursdays. We can’t give you an exact time of delivery, but please let us know in the Delivery Information box when you check out, any special delivery requirements you have.

 

How will I receive my order?


1. Home Delivery (fresh products)

We offer local delivery to your home or workplace. This service is £ 1.50  for orders of £15 and above, otherwise there is a small delivery charge of £2.95.

SR1, SR2, SR3, SR4, SR5, SR6 (Sunderland), SR7 (Seaham), SR8 (Peterlee), DH1, DH6, DH7, DH9 (Durham), DH2 and DH3 (Chester-le-Street), DH4 and DH5 (Houghton-Le-Spring), NE2, NE3, NE4, NE5, NE6, NE7, NE16 (Newcastle), NE8, NE9, NE10, NE11 (Gateshead), NE31 (Hebburn), NE32 (Jarrow), NE33 and NE34 (South Shields), NE35 (Boldon Colliery), NE36 (East Boldon), NE37 and NE38 (Washington).


2. Local pick up Sunderland

Pick-up from our designated shop at 170-171  High Street West, Sunderland SR1 1UP. This may be beneficial if you live close-by, don’t order above £15 or if you want to pay in cash.


3. Home Delivery (non-fresh products)

We offer nationwide delivery for orders that don’t contain fresh produce. This service is free for orders over £60, otherwise for orders under 2kg we charge £4.95, for orders over 2kg we charge £5.95

All orders must be cancelled by midnight Sunday to be refunded back to your original payment method. If you cancel your order by midnight Monday, you will be given a partial refund of 40% of the amount you paid to your original method of payment. Any cancellations after this time period will not be refunded and your box will be donated to a local charity.
Vegetable orders

Like us, not all fruit or vegetables are perfectly formed. We don’t believe in discriminating against misshapen carrots or imperfect potatoes and in fact, love them for their flaws. A less than round apple is still as tasty as their perfectly formed cousins. Unless your produce is clearly defective, please accept them as Nature intended.
Refunds

Once your return is received, inspected and approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@sunshinecooperative.co.uk
Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@sunshinecooperative.co.uk
